SHED Overwhelm 4-Step Process 

01. Prioritize

Life can be overwhelming, how do you prioritize everything that deserves your attention? 

Here’s the truth, overwhelm is created by your thoughts about something, not the “thing” itself.

Your thoughts may have sounded something like this:

  • “I can’t do this right now, there’s too much to do”.
  • “Who has the time to track what they do every day for five days”?
  • “OMG everything feels like a priority, how can I narrow it down to just a few”?

02. Audit.

Audit your top priorities in life and make sure those priorities align with your calendar...that's easier said than done- right?!

What comes up for you when you look at the never-ending to-do list and double bookings staring you down?

You want to do anything but tackle what’s in front of you. Because half are things you don’t want to do and it sucks the life out of you. Am I right?

 So let’s change it. You are the agent over your time.


03. SHED Non-Essentials

This is the part almost all women LOVE the most.

They give themselves permission to say “no”.

Permission to delegate.

Permission to say “not right now”.

They give themselves permission to say YES to whatever the heck they want and not apologize for it.

This is the step they embrace! they feel the weight lift from their shoulders as they do it.

It’s freeing.

04. Constrain & Maintain

You’re going to practice living in the discomfort of change, in exchange for a more calm, successful, fulfilled life. One where you and your needs are a priority too.

And when you fall off the plan and find yourself participating in old habits, you gently turn the steering wheel back to these steps and your commitments.

It’ll take time.

It’ll require patience.

It’ll be worth it.
